Day 9 - noon
And so it begins. Walking with Peyton's medical team to the surgical center was tough. Giving Peyton a kiss, leaving her, and walking back, arm in arm with Rayna was even harder.

We are praying from you from Santa Barbara, Karl and Rayna. Perhaps Alex told you about the journey we've had with our Rudy the last six months www.rudysbeat.wordpress.com so we walk with particular empathy to what you're going through. Words escape me to describe the flood of feelings one has sitting in that room waiting for word from the OR, so peace and comfort to you.

ReplyDeletePeace be with you and your family.
I found your blog through Safe Haven and was drawn to your story because I also have a little daughter named Peyton. We are praying for you and your family today. I pray that the Lord is giving you peace and comfort right now and strength and wisdom to the doctors.

ReplyDeleteMy heart hurts for you guys. I'll be praying for you, for the doctors and for little Peyton.
ReplyDeleteAll of you are in our thoughts and our prayers, especially little Peyton. What a cutie! She is so lucky to be blessed with caring and loving parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and a whole bunch of wonderful friends. It sounds like Peyton is getting the best of care and Karl and Rayna are receiving a tremendous amount of love and support. We love you.
